About

Vision & Mission

Vision: Lakeshore Community Church is a Spirit-empowered, Christian community seeking to love and celebrate God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength and to love our neighbour as ourselves. We believe it is God’s desire that our church be open to all people as a place to learn, a place to laugh, a place to love and be loved.

Mission: In order to fulfill God’s vision for our church, we believe He has given us the mission of helping people from all walks of life become fully devoted, Spirit-empowered, Christ followers who influence their family, church, community and world to know and love God.

Philosophy: We believe that all people have been created by God to know Him and to experience the abundant life that He promises when we live according to His will. For this reason we are committed, through the ministries of Lakeshore Community Church, to helping you and your family grow in faith as you pursue a personal relationship with God.

If there is anything we can do to help you in this pursuit or if you would simply like to know more about Lakeshore Community Church, please contact the church office.

Service Times and Location

Sunday Worship Services: 9:00 am and 11:00am

Snack ‘n Yak: 10:30 am – 11:00am. This is a time when people from both services can visit and connect with one another while enjoying a cup of coffee and a snack provided by our hospitality team.

What to Expect: Dress casual, and join us for a service filled with worship led by one of our teams, complete with a full band. A message from God’s Word is always delivered in a way that is designed to make the truth and message of God’s as accessible as possible to each person who comes, regardless of the point they are at in their faith journey.

What about my Kids? All children can be checked in upon arrival to either service at our kid’s check in station in the foyer. Children in the nursery (0-18 months) and toddler room (18 months up to age 4) can be checked into the kid’s wing before church begins. Children ages JK up to Grade 5 should also be checked in but will take part in the main worship service until being dismissed to head to their program during the announcements time.

At Lakeshore Community Church, we see it as our utmost responsibility to ensure that we provide an environment that is safe and secure for children.  All of our children and youth ministry are carefully screened and go through Plan to Protect training. Talk to one of our pastors for more information on our plan and how we put it into action.
